What exactly is Wapka Builder?
A CMS and hosting platform in one. You get pages and templates, installable apps, a Wapka subdomain, SSL, CDN, file storage and a panel to run it all. No separate hosting account, plugin stack or SSL setup.
Do I need to know how to code?
No. Templates, the page manager and native apps cover most sites. Server-side Lua, the REST API and MCP are there for advanced work when you need them.
Is there a free plan?
No. Free access is granted, not sold: a limited number of sponsored accounts are approved for valid cases such as students, educators, non-profits and community projects. Paid plans start at $3/month.
Can I use my own domain?
Yes, from the Plus plan. SSL is included. Basic and sponsored accounts use a Wapka subdomain.
Can you move my existing site onto it?
We can. Migration and rescue is a service — send a request and we will scope it. If rebuilding elsewhere is cheaper, we will say so.
Where is the AI assistant?
At chat.wapka.org. It can help with pages, Lua and debugging. It is a helper, not a requirement.
